Doug Berquist joined RWD Technologies in 2002 and currently serves as Vice President, Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness. In this capacity he works with the Senior Leadership Team globally to develop strategies that clearly focus on client needs, to implement RWD’s 3-year strategic plan, and to improve the overall effectiveness of RWD operations. Mr. Berquist and his team focus on all aspects of marketing, organization design, business process, and governance to execute the plan and to close systemic gaps in operational performance. For 5 years previously, Mr. Berquist held the position of Managing Director for RWD Technologies Canada where he was responsible for RWD’s operations and growth in that country.
Prior to joining RWD, Mr. Berquist worked for Oracle Corporation as Country Manager for Oracle Education in New Zealand and as Practice Director for Organizational Change Management in Canada. He has also held senior positions in Sales and Marketing for Norampac, a major Canadian manufacturer of corrugated products, and in Human Resources for Westinghouse Canada. From 1990 to 1996 Mr. Berquist was the owner of his own consulting business focused on organization development and effectiveness.
Mr. Berquist holds an M.Ed. (Workplace Learning and Change) from the University of Toronto and a B.A. in Sociology from McMaster University.
