Lawrence Mitchell joined RWD in 2004 and serves as Vice President and General Counsel, as well as corporate secretary of the company.
Prior to joining RWD, Mr. Mitchell was Vice President and General Counsel of AM Communications, Inc., a provider of status monitoring systems and services for the cable television industry, and its affiliate, NeST Technologies, Inc., a provider of custom software solutions. Mr. Mitchell also served as "acting" President of AM Communications during his final year with that company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Mitchell was Vice President and General Counsel with two growth-stage telecommunications companies (Zeroplus.com, Inc. and KSI, Inc.), and he also spent five years as senior in-house counsel with Gould Electronics, Inc., a multinational manufacturer of electronic materials and components.
Mr. Mitchell began his career as an associate with the law firm of Cummings and Lockwood in Stamford, Connecticut. He received his J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law and his B.A. in Economics from the University of Cincinnati.
